Garden Party Launch/Trunk Show

While I am working with my amazing team to get the spring items ready to list in the Etsy shop, I wanted to give the local moms a heads up about our launch party/truck show. If you read my previous post, you might be scratching your head a little. But as you will read in the now edited post, you should never say something is set in stone! So what you are reading here is in fact correct. The launch party will be Monday, March 4th from 6-8pm. It is drop in style, so don't fret if you can't make it until after 6. And little ones are also welcome to join us. It might be nice to have them there to try a few things on. 

It will be hosted by the amazing Marcy of Magic by Marcy (who put together the amazing invitation at the start of this post!). You will be able to see all of goodies from the Garden Party line first hand. They will be available for purchase along with all the other outfits that I have ready made. And of course you can always place an order for any custom outfits while there. You know Easter is quickly approaching...

We will also be doing a drawing for a item of the winners choice from the new Garden Party line. All those who attend will get one entry for attending and another if you bring a friend...the more friends the more entries. You can receive another entry for every $30 you spend and 5 extra entries if you book a trunk show of your own. Lots of ways to entry means even more chances to win!

Spring Line Update

Yesterday was the spring line photo shoot. And let me tell you, it was A-MAZ-ING! Linda with Long's Photography simply outdid herself. The backdrop was breathtaking. And oh my at the little cuties that came to model for us. They were also so adorable. I can not wait to show you guys all of the pictures. But for now you will have to settle for a few more teasers.

This spring line has been one for the story books. Don't get me wrong, I have loved creating all these little pieces. But things did not go smoothly. I got a much later start than I had hoped for. I was not really able to start with the actual designing until about January 31st. That's right... I went from design to completion in about 20 days! And in that 20 days I had to replace 2 irons, a sewing machine (I lost 2 on consecutive days), and even my seam ripper. You know it is bad when you break your seam ripper! I am very happy to have a new, more advanced machine. Even if we did have to make a special trip to Wal-mart (my least favorite place in the world) at 9:00 at night to get it.

And now I will begin working on getting the listings ready while I wait on the beautiful photos. I have the amazing Marcy with Magic by Marcy working on the graphics.  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so excited to share these outfits with all of your little cuties. There will be a mix of ready to ship and made to order available for each item in the new line. So don't worry if I do not have your little one's size. I have fabric to make more.

I am setting a tentative release date of March 4th, but that date is not set in stone. However, one date that is set in stone (one should never say set in stone... it means it will instantly change!) for our local Tallahasseeians (not sure that is a word) is the trunk show/launch party for the new line. It will be held on Friday, March 15th Monday, March 4th. So mark your calenders and check back for more details soon!

Happy Birthday to some Cuties

So my poor little blog has been so neglected these past few months. I can't even remember the last time I posted a little update of all the little custom goodies I have been making. So her is a post to share some of the fun birthday requests I've received lately.

Valentine's Collection 2013

Oh how much fun I had creating this mini collection. It was a sea of pink around here! And we had a blast at the model shoot by Long's Photography! It was so fun to see so many cuties sporting some HCD wear. And oh how adorable is this kissing booth?! I just can't stand it. And you have a chance to have your little one photographed just like this. You can enter to win a free session with Long's on their Facebook page!
